Responsible Gaming - Sahara Sands Casino
Gambling is entertainment. It should be fun. When it stops being fun, it's time to stop. This page explains what tools are available, where to get help and how to stay in control.
Basic Rules for Safe Gambling
These rules sound simple. They are. Players who follow them rarely run into problems.
- Only gamble with money you can afford to lose
- Set a budget before you start and stick to it
- Never gamble under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Never chase losses - if you've lost, stop playing
- Gambling is not a way to make money
- Take regular breaks
Self-Help Tools in the Casino
Sahara Sands provides several tools to help you control your gambling. All tools are found in your account under "Responsible Gaming".
Deposit Limit
Set a maximum amount you can deposit per day, week or month. Once the limit is reached, no further deposits are possible until the period ends.
How to activate: Account → Settings → Responsible Gaming → Set Deposit Limit
Limits become active immediately. Increases only take effect after a 24-hour waiting period. This protects against impulsive decisions.
Loss Limit
Set a maximum amount you can lose per day, week or month. When the limit is reached, you're automatically logged out and can't continue playing until the period ends.
Wager Limit
Set a maximum bet per round or hand. This prevents risking too much in a single moment.
Session Timer
Set how long you want to play. You'll receive a reminder when time is up. Optionally, you can be automatically logged out when the session ends.
Reality Check
A popup appears at regular intervals showing you:
- How long you've been playing
- How much you've deposited in this session
- Your current win or loss
You choose the frequency: every 15, 30, 60 or 120 minutes.
Timeout (Cool-Off Period)
Want a break but not a full exclusion? The timeout feature locks your account for a limited time.
- 24 hours
- 48 hours
- 7 days
After the timeout period ends, your account is automatically unlocked.
Self-Exclusion
Self-exclusion is the most serious step. You lock your account for an extended period or permanently.
- 1 month
- 3 months
- 6 months
- 12 months
- Permanent
Important: An active self-exclusion cannot be reversed before the period ends. With permanent exclusion, the account is closed for good.
To request self-exclusion: contact live chat or email [email protected] with the subject "Self-Exclusion".

Player protection is not a formality for us. It's part of how we operate.
- Staff are trained to recognize signs of problem gambling
- We proactively reach out when we notice concerning behavior
- We don't run aggressive advertising campaigns
- Bonus conditions are written clearly and transparently
- All protection tools are free and immediately available
If we notice someone may have a problem, we reach out. Even if it means losing a customer.
In Short
Gambling should be fun. Use the tools, set limits, take breaks. If something feels off, stop and get help. That's not weakness. That's common sense.
